ANSWER: Many supporters bring a wagon, cooler on wheels, laundry baskets, Produce bags and other things along those lines. We have boxes on hand as well.

ANSWER: Unfortunately we have no idea until the Thursday/Friday before the "MARKET". Produce is always dropped off daily..
Question: HOW LONG IS THE WAIT/LINE TIME?
ANSWER: We have 2 produce lines to make this as easy and as fast as we possibly can. Volunteers are a HUGE factor. ALSO the supporters choosing their produce in a timely matter all contribute to the "wait" time..
Question: WHERE DOES STVFM GET THEIR PRODUCE...NOW?
ANSWER: Being in this awesome industry for over 15 years, we have made some amazing farmer/Distributor friends along the way. They have the same mentality as we do and that's FEEDING COMMUNITIES. We have produce from farmers/Distributors throughout the state of Arizona and along the border of AZ/CA or AZ/MX!!!! We are super excited to have this partnership with them.... We obtain DIRECT!!!

Question: WHY CAN'T I HAVE AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF PRODUCE for $15.00?
ANSWER: Because we do not have an unlimited supply of produce.
Question: DO I GET TO PICK MY OWN PRODUCE?
ANSWER: YES YOU DO.
1. Early Bird Option: As you go down the produce line, you are able to pick your very own. WE DO NOT PREPACKAGE OR PACKAGE YOUR BOX FOR YOU. What you take home...YOU picked it.
2. Pack-N-Go We pre-pack the box for you.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PRODUCE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE MARKET
Question: WHAT TIME IS THE STVFM PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION?
ANSWER: Summer Hours From 7am to 11am or TILL SOLD OUT-- PLEASE NOTE: That we can run out of produce BEFORE 11am! We do NOT promise everyone will be able to purchase a box. Early bird in this case actually does get the worm! Sometimes we have plenty and sometimes we do run out fast. AGAIN we do not have an unlimited supply of produce... we wish we did and we truly work hard to make sure everyone can participate!
Summer Hours 7am - 11AM
Winter Hours 8am-12pm

ANSWER: NO, unfortunately we are not apart of these programs... The produce is $15.00 and CASH only. Vendors accept cash and CC.
Question: I read a bad review (only 1) on Google, do you really make people take home bad produce?
ANSWER: NO, It is NEVER our intention for ANYONE to take home anything bad! We ask you to do this:
1. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PRODUCE BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE MARKET. We can exchange right then and there, we can't assist you 3 days later on Facebook or Google.
2. When choosing your produce as you go through the line, please feel free to check the item(s) as you choose. This ensures you do not take anything bad home. Even check your pack-N-go upon pick up.
3. Prepare or process your produce when you get home. Or refrigerate immediately. DO NOT LEAVE produce sitting outside or on the counter for days. ALWAYS WASH YOUR PRODUCE (vinegar wash is the best)
We try to please as many as we can, volunteers are human and mistakes can be made HOWEVER we can and will fix any issues AT THE MARKET.
Question: Can I use my DC/CC for produce on the day of market?
ANSWER: NO, produce is a Cash Donation
Question: DOES THE STVFM ACCEPT DONATIONS?
ANSWER: YES! We depend on donations and vendor fees to help pay for Insurance, always making signs (spray paint, paint, wood, stakes etc), property maintenance, porta potty, paper towels, water, cleaning supplies, and other misc expenses. This community service event became expensive! If you would like to donate we would really appreciate it and the money does go back to this awesome Community San Tan Valley Farmer's Market. We do have a Non Profit for donations.
Our goal is to start programs USEFUL to our community supporters and perhaps one day start assisting Pinal County Food vendors obtain their permits as well we have assisted so far over 5 local businesses obtain these permits at no cost to them. We have soo many great ideas and programs we would like to start for OUR community! We are also able to use donations towards a produce box for a vet, pay for produce transportation, and keep this market ALIVE!!
